Like congealed cooking oil I am forever stuck on the Demons and will be a fan for life.
If you think that you are about to read a report into last week’s game – well you are going to be disappointed… not even Tolstoy, Hemingway or Shakespeare could have anything but writers block to describe the game. So instead and to help overcome the grieving process I am offering you a 12 step plan/reason to love the Mighty Dees.
1) We have Jesse Hogan – who is going to be an absolute superstar
2) We have the best coach in the league
3) We have the best CEO in the league
4) We have Jack Viney
5) We have Dom Tyson
6) We have Christian Salem
7) We have the best them song in the league
8) We will have a minimum of one (possibly even 3) first round draft picks next year
9) We don’t follow ‘essedon’
10) We don’t follow Collingwood
11) We don’t follow Richmond
12) We have the best and most resilient supporters in the competition.
So there you have it… plenty to smile about… be like congealed cooking oil and remember the great words of Tom Petty and get behind and stay committed to the Mighty Dees.
